Is it better to repair or replace a garage door opener?

If your garage door opener has stopped working or is experiencing problems, it’s probably better to just replace it. In some cases, a repair may make sense. For example, if you have a new garage door opener that is malfunctioning but still under warranty, it makes sense to hire a repair service. 

However, given how far security measures have improved within the last few years, purchasing a replacement is likely the best way to go in most cases.
